えび～にゃが年中無休の笑顔であなたをお出迎え！
こちらは、2015年秋の海老名駅西口のまちびらきに合わせ、西口ロータリー内に設置された海老名市のイメージキャラクター「えび～にゃ」の像です。
市民や市内各企業からの寄附金を募って造られたということで、まさに街のシンボル的存在ですね。
像の裏面下部には、寄附された方々のお名前がずら～っとステンレス製の銘板に彫られています。
えび～にゃは5歳の女の子で、特技はえび～にゃダンス、好きな食べ物はいちご（海老名市はいちごの出荷量が県内1位）だそうです。
